      WARRANTY GUIDELINES

      WARRANTY GUIDELINES

      1. WARRANTY CONDITIONS. Cherry Mobile provides a one (1) year warranty period for its Phones, Tablets, Action Cam, Cherry Fit and Cherry Fi to be counted from the product’s purchase date. In addition, there will be a six (6) month warranty period for the Battery, Charger, Charger Head, USB Cable, Headset, Power bank, Speaker, and other peripheral accessories of the purchased Cherry Mobile product which shall also commence from the product’s purchase date. Cherry Mobile hereby gives the full authority to Versatile Customer Care Solutions Inc. (“VCCSI”), as its duly authorized and accredited service center to repair all its products and accessories.

      VCCSI shall not be liable for any data loss or deletion for all units endorsed to it for repair. VCCSI strongly recommends for the Client to take the necessary actions to back-up their unit’s data prior to its repair by VCCSI.

      A cancellation fee of Php/150.00 will be charged by VCCSI to the Client for any cancellation of repaired units for OUT/VOID warranty.

      For repaired units with OUT/VOID warranty, a three (3) month warranty period will be given for the parts repaired/replaced to be counted from the date the repaired unit is turned-over to the Client. In case the parts repaired/replaced shows signs of physical damage/mishandling/tampering, the three (3) month warranty period will automatically be void and the corresponding charges for parts and labor will be applied.

      1. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS. The warranty given shall not apply to any units and/or accessories with clear signs of mishandling/incorrect usage/tampering, such as but not limited to: (a) Broken parts; (b)Water damage; (c) Unauthorized alteration and modification; (d) Tampered units; and (e) Unauthorized opening/repair.

      Cosmetics such as front cover, back cover, battery cover, keypad, antenna, and all outside knobs or buttons are not covered/included by the warranty provided herein.

      • WARRANTY CLAIMS. A unit is shall be considered “in warranty” only if the following conditions are all present: (i) its falls within the one (1) year warranty period; (ii) a copy of its official receipt is presented; and (iii) there are no signs of any unauthorized mishandling/incorrect usage/tampering/modification. The repair of the unit shall be free of charge for parts and labor if all the foregoing conditions are met by the Client.

      A unit shall be considered as “void warranty” if it’s still within the one (1) year warranty period, however, it shows clears signs of mishandling/incorrect usage/tampering (e.g. broken parts, water damage, unauthorized alteration/modification, and unauthorized opening/repair). Therefore, charges for parts and labor will be applied.

      A unit shall be considered as “out warranty” once it’s no longer covered within the one (1) year warranty. Therefore, charges for parts and labor will be applied.

      The foregoing warranty claims shall apply to the six (6) month warranty period for the accessories of the unit.

      1. CLAIMING OF UNITS. For claiming of units either repaired/cancelled, the following documents must be presented by the Client: (i) Acknowledgement Form; (ii) one (1) valid Government ID; (iii) Notarized Affidavit of Loss together with a valid Government ID in cases where the Acknowledgment Form was lost or misplaced; and (iv) Authorization Letter with a copy of the Client’s and the representative’s valid Government ID in cases where the unit is going to be claimed by a representative of the Client.
